A Honda Civic was turning from US 101 onto Black Lake Boulevard when it struck Alyssa
Olympia, WA. – 42-year-old Alyssa Acord died after being struck by a car in Olympia on Saturday.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 101 near Black Lake Boulevard at around 1 a.m.
A Honda Civic was turning from US 101 onto Black Lake Boulevard when it struck Alyssa.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither the driver nor his passenger was injured.
The driver was arrested and booked into the Thurston County Jail on suspicion of vehicular homicide and DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
