Long Beach, CA. – 27-year-old Aaron Lauro has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash last month in Long Beach.
According to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner, Lauro died in a collision that happened around 10:25 p.m. on June 26 on Redondo Avenue.
The Long Beach Police Department reported that Lauro was riding a 2023 Yamaha north on Redondo Avenue when he side-swiped a pickup truck driven by a 63-year-old Lomita man.
The collision caused the rider to lose control and hit the curb before he was thrown off the bike.
Lauro died from blunt force injuries he suffered in the accident.
The driver of the pickup truck cooperated with investigators.

Long Beach, CA. – A 27-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Thursday night in Long Beach.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident occurred around 10:25 p.m. on Redondo Avenue.
Authorities said the Long Beach man was riding a 2023 Yamaha north on Redondo Avenue when, for an unknown reason, he side-swiped a pickup truck driven by a 63-year-old Lomita man.
The rider lost control of the bike and hit the curb before being ejected from the bike.
The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries. His name was not released pending family notification.
The pickup truck driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
