Phelan, CA. – 37-year-old Aaron Graham died two days after his SUV collided with a big rig Thursday night in Phelan, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The suspected hit-and-run accident occurred around 10:05 p.m. on eastbound Highway 138, just east of Gramercy Road.
According to investigators, Graham, a Palmdale resident, was driving a BMW X7 SUV eastbound on Highway 138 behind a Freightliner tractor-trailer.

The big rig did not stop after the crash.
First responders found Graham unconscious in his vehicle. The victim was taken to Arrowhead Regional Hospital Medical Center in Colton, where he later died on Saturday, according to CHP and San Bernardino County Coroner's Office.
Investigators located the semi-truck believed to be involved in the crash shortly after the crash just over a mile away along Hess Road.
