Portland, OR. – Four women were injured after being struck by a vehicle that ran a stop sign in Portland on Thursday night.
According to Portland police, the accident happened near Northwest 4th Avenue and Couch Street.
Police say a group of around 100 people were gathered on the street after a fight broke out when a man driving on Northwest Couch Street ran a stop sign and struck four women in the street.
The four women were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver, 32-year-old Tyler William Miller, was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII).
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
