The fatal collision happened around 9:26 a.m. on July 16 in the northbound lanes of Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Pearblossom Highway.

Palmdale, CA – A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a motorcycle accident in Palmdale, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal collision happened around 9:26 a.m. on July 16 in the northbound lanes of Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Pearblossom Highway.
CHP said a 32-year-old Apple Valley man was riding a 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he lost control while transitioning from Pearblossom Highway to northbound 14 Freeway. The motorcycle overturned and continued into the raised concrete median, which separates the on-ramp from the northbound mainline lanes.
A 31-year-old Lake Arrowhead woman, who was a passenger in the motorcycle, was ejected and collided with a metal freeway signpost. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The man sustained a head contusion and hand abrasions but was not taken to a hospital.
Both the man and the woman were wearing their helmets at the time of the accident.
Alcohol and drugs were not factors in the accident
