A GMC 1500 pickup truck and a semi-truck with a trailer loaded with 6-8 pallets of water bottles were involved in the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the crash.
The firefighters extricated one person who was trapped inside the wreckage.
One person was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
The semi-truck driver suffered minor injuries.
The pickup truck acquired major front-end damage.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
