San Francisco, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday evening at an intersection just outside the eastern edge of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the pileup was reported around 7:14 p.m. at Fulton Street and Stanyan Street.
Six vehicles collided under unclear circumstances. One of the cars, a gray Honda, overturned in the crash.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and evaluated the motorists.
Two patients were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said drugs and alcohol did not appear to be contributing factors.
SFPD is investigating the accident.
