Mason County, WA. – A driver was airlifted after being injured in a car accident in Mason County on Tuesday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 8:10 a.m. at East Pickering Road and SR 3.
A 28-year-old Shelton man reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection and collided with another vehicle operated by a 35-year-old Shelton man.
The 28-year-old driver was seriously injured and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The 35-year-old man was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
