San Bernardino County, CA. – One person died, and several others were injured in a fiery rollover crash that happened early Sunday morning in Atolia.
The collision occurred around 12:08 a.m. on Highway 395 at mile marker 68, north of Twenty Mule Team Parkway and south of Red Mountain.
A rented Honda Odyssey minivan and an old Jeep CJ were involved in the crash.
The minivan overturned onto its roof in the middle of the highway, and the Jeep caught fire off the northbound shoulder.
Authorities said a male driver of one of the cars died in the crash.
Several others were injured, one critically.
No other details were given, but the California Highway Patrol Bishop Area Office is investigating the accident.
