Naches, WA. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday night in Naches.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened on State Route 410 at around 7:44 p.m., according to Washington State Patrol.
A motorcyclist was riding a bike on the highway when he was struck by a driver who was turning left into a campground.
The unidentified rider was transported to Yakima Multicare Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the car, 33-year-old Reese Perkins, admitted he'd been drinking during the day and was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
