Los Angeles, CA – One person was killed after two vehicles collided on the San Diego Freeway in Los Angeles early Monday.
The deadly crash happened at about 3:32 a.m. on the northbound Interstate 405, just south of Getty Center Drive.
Responding officers located one vehicle in the HOV lane and the other was facing the wrong way on the freeway.
Firefighters arrived at the scene at about 3:51 a.m. and began CPR on one person after the vehicles were moved off the freeway.
According to CHP, a doctor from UCLA Medical Center declared the dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim was not released.
The crash remains under investigation and no additional details are available.
