The driver of the 2018 Kenworth was airlifted to a trauma center with serious injuries

Sherman County, OR. – A semi-truck driver was injured in a collision on Thursday evening in Biggs Junction.
At around 7:10 p.m., officers responded to the scene of a collision on US 97, according to the Oregon State Police.
A 2018 Kenworth semi truck pulling double trailers was traveling southbound when it was sideswiped by a 2016 Kenworth semi-truck traveling northbound.
The driver of the 2018 Kenworth was airlifted to a trauma center with serious injuries.
According to OSP, the driver of the 2016 truck was unhurt and was later arrested on charges of third-degree assault, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
