Tucson, Arizona – One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a head-on crash in Tucson on Monday, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The collision occurred on May 19, 2025, on South Country Club Road near East Camino Campestre.
Tucson Police Department said a Nissan Versa was heading northbound on Country Club Road when, for some reason, it crossed the double yellow line into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Kia Sorento.
The driver of the Nissan suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name remains under wraps pending next of kin notification.
Two people in Sorento were hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
