According to police, Zhilan Chen, 72, was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances

Spokane, WA.- A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident that took place in Spokane on Monday night, according to the Spokane Police Department.
The incident took place in the area of Whistalks Way and Randolph Road at around 8:15 p.m. February 24.
According to police, Zhilan Chen, 72, was hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
Officers performed life-saving measures on Chen until medics arrived at the scene and took over.
Despite the efforts by the emergency crews, Chen was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The man driving the vehicle stayed at the scene.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
