Napa County, CA.- One person was injured and another arrested following a suspected drunk driving accident in Napa County on Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened in the 4100 block of Old Sonoma Road south of Congress Valley Road, just before 10:50 p.m. October 28.
The CHP said Ganesh Singh, 32, of Napa, was driving a 2000 Volvo S70 southbound on Old Sonoma Road at a high rate of speed.
He drifted across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming 2018 Honda HR-V driven by 56-year-old Yuko Butler, of Napa.
Butler was taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries.
Singh was treated for moderate to major injuries.
According to the report, Singh is expected to face DUI charges following the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
