Woman Killed in Hit-And-Run Crash in Arlington Identified

Arlington, Calif. – Authorities have released the identity of the woman killed in a hit-and-run crash that injured a man in Arlington Tuesday night.

Taylor Jackson, 24, was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident on South Arlington Avenue just north of Venice Boulevard at around 10 p.m. November 14.

An investigation is ongoing.

, Calif. – A woman died, and a man was hurt when they were struck by two vehicles Tuesday night in South Los Angeles' Arlington Heights neighborhood.

The Los Angeles Police Department said the accident happened around 10 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Arlington Avenue between Pico and Venice boulevards.

Police said a woman and a man were attempting to cross the street outside of a crosswalk when a sedan traveling south on Arlington hit the female pedestrian and then the male pedestrian.

The woman was thrown into the path of a second vehicle traveling in the same direction as the sedan. The second car also hit the woman.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

The man was treated at the scene for unknown injuries.

The report said the crash was a hit-and-run but did not mention which driver fled the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
