Woman Seriously Injured in Two-Car Accident on Plymouth Road in Benton County
Benton County, WA – A woman was seriously injured following a Friday night traffic collision in Benton County.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on November 23 on Plymouth Road, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Reportedly, a southbound car on Plymouth Road failed to yield the right of way and crashed into a westbound vehicle on State Route 14.
The woman injured in the crash was a passenger in the car and was not wearing a seat belt.
She was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center for her injuries. The driver of the car she was in was not hurt.
The Washington State Patrol stated that it was unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The car with the two passengers was totaled, while the other car sustained significant damage.
The driver of the first car is facing pending charges.
The crash remains under investigation.
