Woman Killed in Head-On Collision at Admiral Way and Southwest City View Street in Seattle

Seattle, Washington (November 5, 2023) – A 23-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision that happened at an intersection in Seattle on Saturday night.
The accident was reported at around 11:30 p.m. in the area of Southwest Admiral Way and Southwest City View Street, near the Port of Seattle‘s industrial district.
The 23-year-old woman was driving a silver Chevrolet Camaro at a high rate of speed, when she lost control of the car, drifted into the opposite lane, and collided head-on with an oncoming blue Toyota driven by a 34-year-old man.
Emergency crews responded to the crash and extricated the woman from her car.
Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The 34-year-old man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Washington State Patrol.
More details about the crash were not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
