Bicyclist Dies after Collision at 19th Street and Idaho Avenue in Santa Monica
Santa Monica, California (November 4, 2023) – A woman is dead after a bicycle accident that occurred last week Friday in Santa Monica.
Santa Monica Police Department says the accident happened around 8:45 a.m. on October 27, at 19th Street and Idaho Avenue.
The 69-year-old woman was riding a bicycle in the area and was hit by a car.
The unidentified woman was taken to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
