Jaycox was struck and became trapped under the axle of an SUV in a crosswalk.
Canoga Park, CA – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office has identified 54-year-old Warren Jaycox of Van Nuys as the pedestrian killed in Canoga Park crash Saturday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the mishap was reported at 11:37 a.m. December 28 in the 6800 block of North Owensmouth Avenue, east of Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
Jaycox was struck and became trapped under the axle of an SUV in a crosswalk.
Jaycox was pronounced dead at the scene after being extricated by firefighters.
The incident remains under investigation.
