Westlake, CA. – Two women, aged 28 and 32, were injured in a traffic collision on 8th Street in Westlake Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 8th Street near Valencia Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two vehicles were located at the crash site. However, the reports did not state how the mishap happened.
The 28-year-old woman had to be freed by firefighters from one of the vehicles and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The second woman was listed in serious condition.
A third victim declined transportation.

Los Angeles, CA. – At least two people were seriously injured in a traffic collision that occurred near Westlake on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened around 1:56 p.m. on 1425 W 8th Street near Valencia Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two cars were involved in the accident, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
A woman was trapped in one of the cars after the collision and had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Another woman was ejected from the car and was hospitalized with serious injuries.
A third involved person declined medical treatment.
