San Diego, CA – The San Diego Coroner's Office has identified 29-year-old Mostafa Zarepashaei of San Diego as a victim killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 94 in Dulzura last week Sunda morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 11:17 a.m. on December 8 on State Route 94 and Barrett Smith Road.
Zarepashaei was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on the highway when he collided with an eastbound Ford SUV and was ejected onto the roadway. Two other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Zarepashaei was declared dead at the scene.
Additional information about the wreck was not reported.
An investigation is underway.

San Diego, CA – One person is dead following a multi-vehicle traffic collision at the Dulzura Junction Sunday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 11:17 a.m. in the area of State Route 94 and Barrett Smith Road at the Barrett Junction.
Responding crews located a dark-colored motorcycle, a white sedan, a black SUV, and a fourth undescribed vehicle.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in the accident. It wasn't clear if the victim died at the scene or at a hospital, but the authorities reported that the victim was declared dead at about 11:40 a.m.
The authorities did not say if anyone else was injured in the collision.
The intersection was closed and all traffic was diverted onto Barrett Smith Road.
No additional information is available at this time.
