A preliminary investigation revealed a white Chevrolet Cruz rear-ended a tow truck, causing the vehicle to get stuck underneath a truck.
Lake Elsinore, CA. – The Coroner's Office has identified 22-year-old Melissa Lopez of Lake Elsinore as woman Killed in a traffic collision on Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore early Monday morning.
The incident happened at around 3:15 a.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway, just south of Highway 74.

Lake Elsinore, CA. – One person died in a traffic collision involving a tow truck that took place early Monday morning on Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore.
The accident was reported around 3:16 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near State Route 74.
A tow truck driver called 911 reporting that a car rear-ended their vehicle and someone had sustained bad injuries.
