A trash truck hit Hernandez in the area in unclear circumstances.
Canyon Country, CA. – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office identified 21-year-old Alberto Hernandez as male killed in car crash at Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country Friday morning.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident happened at around 8 a.m. on August 10 in the 17800 block of Soledad Canyon Road and Galeton Avenue.
A trash truck hit Hernandez in the area in unclear circumstances.
Hernandez was declared dead at the scene. One other person was rushed to the hospital with injuries, but their condition was not disclosed.
More details regarding the mishap were not provided.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.

Los Angeles, CA. – One person died after colliding with a trash truck near Canyon Country in Los Angeles on Friday morning.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD), the accident happened around 7:59 a.m. on the 17900 block of Soledad Canyon Road near Galeton Avenue.
A car with at least two occupants collided with a trash truck in unclear circumstances. The car became lodged beneath the truck after the collision.
One of the two occupants was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated before they were transported to the hospital.
Sadly, one of the patients succumbed to injuries upon arrival at the hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
