Reportedly, an 18-year-old man was speeding in a Camaro northbound on Highway 41 when he ran a red light and collided with a Nissan SUV driven by a 34-year-old woman.
Fresno, CA. – An 18-year-old man was identified as aa victim killed in a car accident on Highway 41 in Fresno Sunday night.
The accident happened after 9 p.m. on State Route 41 and Mountain View Avenue, the CHP said.
Reportedly, an 18-year-old man was speeding in a Camaro northbound on Highway 41 when he ran a red light and collided with a Nissan SUV driven by a 34-year-old woman.
The Camaro then hit a light pole, splitting the vehicle into two pieces.
The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The two children are said to be okay.
The name of the deceased and injured parties were not disclosed.
A portion of Highway 41 and Mountain View Avenue was closed during the on-scene investigation.
An investigation is underway.
