, CA – The Medical Examiner's Office has identified Jose Santos Nolasco, 20, as a man killed in a Wednesday morning crash on Pomona Freeway in Diamond Bar.

The crash occurred at about 8:43 a.m. January 1 on the eastbound Pomona Freeway east of Golden Springs Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to a preliminary investigation, Nolasco was driving a 2000 Toyota 4Runner eastbound at an undetermined speed when he crashed into the horse trailer pulled by a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup.

Nolasco's vehicle overturned and came to rest on its right side in the HOV lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the pickup were not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.
