Four vehicles collided Tuesday evening in the northbound lanes of the interstate at E. Wardlow Road.

Long Beach, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday evening on Interstate 405 in Long Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup took place around 6:43 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate at E. Wardlow Road.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found the vehicles blocking traffic lanes. The firefighters shut down the Nos. 1, 2, and HOV lanes at E. Wardlow Road.
The firefighters transported two people to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center with minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
