Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sunol Crash on Interstate 680 near Andrade Road
Sunol, California (August 8, 2021) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident that happened Friday afternoon in Sunol, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision was reported at around 3:24 p.m. Friday, August 6 on Interstate 680, just south of Andrade Road.
According to the CHP, the motorcyclist collided with a Tesla in the northbound lane of Interstate 680.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the motorcycle rider lying in the center median area. The victim was then taken to a local hospital with major injuries.
Authorities temporarily closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 680 due to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
