Stevan Fairover Hurt in South Lake Tahoe Accident on State Route 89

South Lake Tahoe, California (August 6, 2021) – Stevan Fairover, 56, of Placerville was among two people injured in a crash that happened in South Lake Tahoe on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported on State Route 89 near Luther Pass at around 6 a.m.
Fairover was reportedly driving a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup southbound on State Route 89 when he drifted into the northbound side and sideswiped an oncoming gray Toyota Tundra pickup.
The Dodge then collided head-on with a 2006 Chevy 2500 pickup that was being driven by Christiana Gray, of Wellington, Nevada.
Gray was extricated from her vehicle by firefighters.
Stevan Fairover Injured in South Lake Tahoe Crash on SR 89
CHP said Fairover and Gray sustained major injuries and were both taken to Barton Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the Tundra, Tristian Cormier, 43, of Carmichael, was not injured in the collision.
Authorities do not believe DUI was a factor in the incident.
The collision remained under investigation.
