Columbia, CA.- Three people were injured in a head-on collision that happened last week in the Columbia area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on Parrotts Ferry Road, north of Porcina Way, at about 4:30 p.m. November 6.
CHP said Stacy Askren, 44, of Avery, was driving a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck southbound on Parrots Ferry Road when she drifted across the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming 2015 Subaru Crosstrex.
Both vehicles were pushed off the side of the roadway by the impact of the crash.
Askren and one of her passengers, a 16-year-old Angels Camp boy, were both treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The other driver, Abigail Schuler, 18, of Murphy, was taken to Adventist Health Sonora with minor injuries.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ingoing.
