Woman Dies after San Jose Pedestrian Crash on Rogers Avenue
San Jose, California (September 8, 2021) – A woman died after being involved in an auto pedestrian collision in northern San Jose last month, according to San Jose police.
The crash occurred in the 1700 block of Rogers Avenue at around 3:46 p.m. on August 25.
Police said a 2000 white Mercury minivan reversed and struck a woman near Junction Avenue.

The woman was transported to a hospital, where she died on Tuesday, September 7. Her name was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities after the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
