Rider Killed in San Jose Motorcycle Crash on Capitol Expressway and Senter Road
San Jose, California (August 12, 2021) – A motorcycle rider died in a crash on Wednesday night in San Jose, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The accident took place on Capitol Expressway and Senter Road at around 11:41 p.m. August 11.
According to police, a man was riding a 2007 Yamaha R6 motorcycle southbound on Senter Road at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light and was hit by a 2007 Toyota Corolla traveling east on Capitol Expressway.

The rider, whose name was not released, died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Corolla stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
The San Jose Police Department is investigating the crash.
