San Diego Accident on Interstate 5 Freeway near Friars Road Seriously Injures Motorcyclist

San Diego, California (August 25, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a collision with a vehicle Wednesday morning in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol said.
The major injury motorcycle crash took place on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Friars Road, at approximately 7:38 a.m.
It was not immediately established how the motorcycle crashed with a second vehicle on the interstate on August 25.

The rider, whose name was not revealed, sustained major injuries and was taken to an area hospital for medication.
Officials affirmed the involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the law enforcers.
The cause of the accident remains under active investigation.
