Hemet, CA. – Samuel Ramirez, 23, was killed in a car accident that happened on Thursday night in Hemet.
The collision happened on Stetson Avenue near Kirby Street at around 10:02 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Moreno Valley man was driving a silver Honda Accord westbound on Stetson when he lost control and slammed into an oncoming Mazda CX3.
Ramirez was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Riverside University Health System Medical Center where he died while receiving treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
