The WSP said Syed A. Haider, 36, of Vancouver, was driving westbound on Highway 432 in a Freightliner tractor trailer when he collided with a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek
Cowlitz County, Wash. – Rodney G. Stryhn, 81, of Longview, was killed in a collision between two vehicles in Cowlitz County on Saturday night, according to the Washington Sate Patrol.
The wreck took place on Highway 432 at Prudential Boulevard at about 10 p.m. March 2.
The WSP said Syed A. Haider, 36, of Vancouver, was driving westbound on Highway 432 in a Freightliner tractor trailer when he collided with a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek making a left turn onto the highway from Prudential Boulevard.
Stryhn was the driver of the Subaru and died at the scene.
Haider was not injured in the crash.
The WSP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
