The CHP said Garcia was driving a Camaro at a high rate of speed northbound on Highway 41 when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a Nissan SUV
Fresno County, CA.- Robert Garcia, 25, has been identified as the man who was killed in a car collision in Fresno County on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 41 near Mountain View Avenue at about 9 p.m. November 3.
The CHP said Garcia was driving a Camaro at a high rate of speed northbound on Highway 41 when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a Nissan SUV.
The Camaro then slammed into a light pole and was split in half.
Garcia was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The woman driving the SUV was treated for minor injuries while two children in her vehicle were said to be okay.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
