Police said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Frontage Road when it crashed into the rear of a Kia Niro

Tucson, AZ.- Risten Lee Robinson, 19, was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Tucson on Saturday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The crash happened on I-10 Frontage and West Silverlake Road at around 2:30 a.m.
Police said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Frontage Road when it crashed into the rear of a Kia Niro that had been traveling westbound on West Silverlake Road and was trying to turn left onto the frontage road.
The impact caused the Silverado to spin and it ejected five occupants from the vehicle.
The driver of the Silverado and five passengers in the vehicle were taken to Banner University Medical Center with minor to major injuries.
One of the passengers, identified as Lee Robinson, died at the hospital.
The operator of the Niro had minor injuries.
Both drivers were reportedly impaired at the time of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
