Rider Killed in Venice Motorcycle Accident Identified

Venice, California (October 31, 2023) – 37-year-old William Evans-Phelps was Identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as a Motorcyclist Killed in Venice Crash Friday night.

The Police Department responded to the tragic traffic collision at around 10:55 p.m. October 27 at Boulevard and Lake Street.

Evans-Phelps was traveling south on Lincoln when he struck the passenger side of a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old man as it was turning westbound onto Lake Street.

Evans-Phelps was declared dead at the crash site.

The motorist, who declined to be taken to a hospital, stayed at the scene to cooperate with police

An investigation is ongoing.

Los Angeles, California (October 28, 2023) – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on Friday night in Venice.

The accident happened at Lincoln Boulevard and Lake Street at around 10:55 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The male rider was traveling southbound on Lincoln when he crashed into the passenger side of a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old man who was turning onto westbound Lake Street.

The unidentified rider was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
