Police said, a 2022 Toyota C-HR operated by a 47-year-old man, was driving eastbound while a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle was heading westbound when the two crashed.

, CA. – A rider was hospitalized following a traffic collision on Wednesday morning in Barrio Logan, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The accident occurred a while before 9:30 a.m. on June 19, in the 2800 block of Main Street.

Police said, a 2022 Toyota C-HR operated by a 47-year-old man, was driving eastbound while a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle was heading westbound.

The Toyota driver then turned left just in front of the Kawasaki. The motorcycle then slammed into the Toyota's broadside.

The rider, a 20-year-old man, sustained a broken leg and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities did not suspect alcohol to have played a role in the collision.

The incident remains under investigation.
