Belfair, WA – A 67-year-old Bremerton male rider was hospitalized after a Saturday afternoon crash in Belfair, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The incident was reported just before 4 p.m. January 25 on State Route 3.

A preliminary investigation revealed a Ford Ranger driven by a 69-year-old man failed to yield the right way, causing a red 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King to hit the Ford and a gray 2017 Honda HR-V.

All three vehicles came to rest, blocking the highway in both directions.

Drugs or alcohol were suspected to be involved and the Ford driver faces charges of driving under the influence and vehicular assault.

The rider was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.

No further information about the wreck was provided.

An investigation is underway.
