Hesperia, CA – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a Monday evening crash on Bear Valley Road in Hesperia.
According to the Hesperia Police Department, the collision happened at around 6:20 p.m. December 16 on Bear Valley Road between Amargosa Road and Cottonwood Avenue.
According to a preliminary investigation, a motorcycle was traveling eastbound splitting lanes, and struck the rear tire of a Dodge.
The rider fell off, causing her to go underneath the attached trailer of the Dodge.
The rider sustained a broken leg and was transported to a trauma center for treatment of severe injuries.
Eastbound lanes of Bear Valley Road were closed for approximately one hour while deputies investigated the crash.
An investigation is in progress.
