Mesa, AZ – A motorcycle rider was critically hurt in a collision involving a vehicle in Mesa on Sunday morning, according to Mesa police.
The accident took place at Baseline and Alma School roads shortly before 9 a.m.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Two occupants of the car were also taken to hospital but with minor injuries.
A second crash occurred near US 60 and Country Club Drive and involved a vehicle and an ambulance responding to the motorcycle accident.
No one was injured in the second collision.
The incident is under investigation.
