Clackamas County, OR – Richard Allan Kerron, 79, of Boring was killed and his passenger, 82-year-old Erlita Jean Kerron of Boring injured in a Sunday multi-vehicle collision on in Clackamas County.

The Oregon State Police responded to the incident on State Route 26 at Haley Road on February 5.

Reports revealed a silver GMC Envoy, operated by Allan Kerron was traveling southbound on Haley Road when it began to enter the intersection with the highway.

The GMC drove in front of a gold Toyota Camry, driven by Derek Lorenz, 33, of Sandy, heading eastbound on the highway. Both vehicles collided, causing the GMC to turn on its top and crash into a gold Toyota Solara operated by Austin Christopher Moore,19, of Salem.

Allan Kerron died at the scene while his passenger Jean Kerron was rushed to a local hospital with severe injuries for treatment.

Lorenz and Moore were not injured.

More information about the crash was not provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
