OSP reports that Benjamin Troy Boynton Jr., 45, of Madras, was driving a Ford F-250 northbound on the highway when he went across the centerline and collided with an oncoming Jeep Wrangler driven by Rebecka Ann Perrine, 43, of La Pine
Deschutes County, OR.- A woman died following a crash involving two vehicles in Deschutes County on Friday night, according to the Oregon State Police.
The incident took place at about 4:57 p.m. on December 27, on Highway 97, near milepost 117.
OSP reports that Benjamin Troy Boynton Jr., 45, of Madras, was driving a Ford F-250 northbound on the highway when he went across the centerline and collided with an oncoming Jeep Wrangler driven by Rebecka Ann Perrine, 43, of La Pine.
Perrine was killed in the crash.
Boynton Jr was taken to an area hospital with major injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
