Oceanside, CA.- An Oceanside police officer was among two people hurt in a car collision in Oceanside on Tuesday morning, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The crash occurred at Mission Avenue and Roymar Road at about 9:15 a.m.
Police said the officer was responding to a call of an earlier crash when the officer collided with a Toyota Corolla that failed to stop for a red light at the intersection.
The officer and the other driver were both taken to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
