Officers responded to the scene and declared the 71-year-old man of Antioch dead at the crash site.

Antioch, CA.- A man was killed following a traffic collision on Sunday night in Antioch, according to the Antioch Police Department.
The accident happened at around 10:33 p.m. on June 23, on Lone Tree Way near Black Diamond Drive.
Officers responded to the scene and declared the 71-year-old man of Antioch dead at the crash site. His name was not immediately released awaiting notification of family.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Initial investigation showed the man was crossing the Lone Tree Way in the crosswalk, against the don't walk signal when the accident happened.
Police did not believe impairment to have played a role in the accident.
An investigation by the Antioch Police Department Traffic Division is ongoing.
