Pedestrian Killed in Mountain View Crash on Imperial Avenue
Mountain View, Calif. – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Mountain View on Thursday night, according to the authorities.
The crash happened on Imperial Avenue near Marketplace Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. December 7.
The San Diego Police Department said a 2007 Chevy Malibu was traveling westbound on Imperial Avenue when it hit a woman in the second lane.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver, a 35-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the incident.
