One Killed in Modesto Crash on Bowen Avenue

Modesto, California (September 18, 2023) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in Modesto on Sunday night, according to the Modesto Police Department.

The wreck took place on Bowen Avenue on Sunday, September 17.

A car reportedly hit a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the road.

The victim died following the accident.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.

The incident is under investigation.
