Irwindale, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Irwindale on Tuesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on the 210 Freeway near Irwindale Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. October 1.
The pedestrian was reportedly struck in the westbound lanes of the freeway.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, died in the crash.
At least two lanes of the freeway were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
