One Injured in Visalia Pedestrian Accident on Ben Maddox Way

Visalia, California – A pedestrian was injured in a crash in Visalia on Saturday morning, according to the Visalia Police Department.

The crash happened on Ben Maddox Way and Walnut Avenue at about 11 a.m. November 11.

Police said David Alvarez, 47, failed to stop for a red light and collided with a pedestrian and two other vehicles.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Police said Alvarez was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The accident is under investigation.
